Headed by The Thylacine and Flying Fox, Fauna Fighter's hopes to raise awareness about injustice committed against animals of all walks and the environment we all share. Our goals are to save the lives of animals, both domestic and in the wild, to help stop needless abuse of our environment and to inspire the wider community into joining us.
Yes, we are for real. We're not LARP enthusiasts or on our way to a convention. We're masked activists, inspired and influenced by the RLSH phenomena.
No, we don't call ourselves Real Life Superheroes. We're not super, nor are we heroes.
The title of hero goes to the police, doctors, fire fighters, youth workers and other selfless civic figures that help our communities daily.
We're just everyday people, no better than anyone else, with a love of animals, the environment, a desire to better our community and a flair for the theatrical.
We're here to help make puppy factories illegal. We're here to help locate lost pets. We're here to help raise awareness about the plight of homeless animals trapped in shelters and to help protect the habitats of animals who only have one place to call home.
We're here to clean up the streets (literally!) and parks and to raise the public profile of environmental and civil issues.
We are also here to promote a free range, fair trade vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and provide you with some tasty recipes.
We're NOT the superheroes of comic-books. We're regular, everyday folk who have failed our world just like everyone else. But, as the Fauna Fighters we've taken on the mantle of bettering ourselves by bettering our world.
